How can i get ringtones on the new iphone 3Gs without paying?

  • i know that there is a way for the regular iphone 3g. So how about the new iphone 3Gs is there a different way. how can i get ringtones? someone please help. thanks.

  • Answer:

Under Windows: Start iTunes. Select a song. Right-click on it, select . In the openned window go to tab. Set the and the time. Press button. Right-click on that song and select . Another song with desired length will be created. Drag and drop that newly created song to the Desktop or any other folder. Rename that file so that extension will be m4r instead of m4a (you need to unchecked the “Hide extensions for known file types” option in “Control Panel -> Folder Options”. Move the renamed file back to iTunes or directly to the iPhone. Done.

Easy: Well, only if you have a mac. In garageband, you can copy and paste music or other clips from itunes or elsewhere and make a ringtone that automatically exports to itunes and syncs with your phone.
