I have an ipod touch and a wall charger for it. But the charger seems to stop working and not charge it why?

After an hour or so...I need to unplug the charger and put it back in just so it keeps on charging...and even then my ipod's bttery life isnt good.

It definitely sounds like a defective charger. You should make sure the next wall charger you get is designed for the iPod Touch. 2nd generation if that's what you have. my charger (I purchased a wall charger last week) came with a actual wall plugin and a cord to connect it. Make sure you're using that cord that came with the charger and not the 1 that came with the iPod.
