What cable do I need to put my computer screen onto my tv?

If you have a modern HDTV, you have two options: - HDMI cable from PC to TV. This carries both video and audio - VGA cable plus an audio cable (3.5mm stereo pin plug to dual RCA) If you have an older analog TV, you'll need to get a separate box to convert VGA signals to composite video. Google the Grandtec 2000.

VGA is almost always gonna work, however if you're PC has a HDMI Output then you can use that to hook up to you're T.V.
