Any way to fix cable on tv?

Any way to fix the cable on my tv? My mother-in-law was watching our son tonight, and I think somehow pushed some kind of button on the remote to make the tv fuzzy when you turn it ...show more

I am currently a lead technician for a cable company here in Kansas City so hopefully I can help. More than likely you have three possible problems. You may want to carefully check the cable connections between the box, vcr, and tv to see if there are any loose lines. If that isn't it, try turning off your vcr completely. If that still doesn't do it make sure your tv is on channel 3 (which is what almost all cable boxes and vcr's work off of) and then go into the settings for your tv and make sure that the input setting is set for cable not for air. If your tv is currently set on air you can get some bleed over from local channels on your tv and that can make it look fuzzy. Hope this helps.
