How to know if i have ADD?

My Windows XP laptop has wifi management Intel PROSET Wireless software. I had to reinstall windows recently. I can't remember what I was told to do, but I cannot add my second home wifi network. Does anyone know how to do this easily?

  • Last time, when I still had some tech support available, they told me an easy answer on changing one or two option checkmarks and I was able to add another wifi network. The way the software worked when I first set up the new installation, was that it wanted some kind of key from the device.  That was how it was when I got the answer from tech support a few years ago. I tried adjusting the options myself, but I didn't have good luck.  Now the system generates a code that it wants me to put on my device. I downloaded the manual for Proset Wireless, but I did not see the answer to my question. Thank you for any help you can give.

  • Answer:

The device itself should have a white tag on it that has a bunch of manufacture logos and details. On here should be the default username and password for the router. You will probably have to reset the router to manufacturer default to use it, this will also restart the network. Have your computer  search for new wireless connections and go from there. If you must absolutely have this network up and have computers on it using the internet, I would not fuss with it. Call tech support again and have them set it up for you.
