    It sounds to me like BBT knows nothing about fixing tv's. I keep seeing his TERRIBLE advice all over the TV section. What a lamp has to do with color has me bafflled. IF it was fine before you picked it up.---check to make sure that the red and blue component video cables are not switched around--- Jeesh BBT! You really know nothing about the internal components of a tv.

try looking through the settings... you should see something that says something along the lines of restore to default. that might fix your problem

You probably have a rear projection tv. You might have to change the lamps on the tv. You can email or call the manufacturer and see what they say. Can't really help with out name the brand and model and type of tv. All tvs are flat screen.
