Why is my new tv blurry?

My new 42in Samsung DLP TV is blurry. Why?

    There are a couple of things you need to look at. #1. What type of signal are you putting into your new High Def. tv? Sounds like a standard signal, you need to upgrade to HD. #2. How are you connecting your new High Def source (see #1). You need to use good cables in order to keep the best signal in there. Also look at a power filter to protect the signal also. Ask at Best Buy or Circuit City and they will be able to show you what you need, be prepared to spend $300-$500 in cables and such, it may happen!

The TV will look blurry when watching standard definition TV, such as "standard cable channels". If it's still blurry when using a DVD as a source, then it's most likely in need of an optical focus adjustment.

You need to use "Monter Cables". You can find them at any electronics store, although I recommend Cicuit City. I dont work there, but they have always been great to me. The Monster Cables allow more information to be passed back and forth between your current hardware and the TV. Also, on a TV that new and of that size, there should be a "auto set" function in the TV menu. This feature should allow you to let the TV find the best setting for what you are trying to watch.
