Why can't I view the messages people sent me?

Why cant I view sent or received instant messages?

I am unable to view the instant messages I send and receive. Is there a way to solve this issue without having to uninstall and reinstall?

my mailed was hacked into on three days ago. i changed my password but the problem now is sent messages go to the subscribed mails but cant receive mails and cannot view sent messages. what the solution to this need to view sent messages and receive mails.
