    have a scavenger hunt in your town. have your parents make clues and have two teams (or however many) ride around town finding dates on graves, getting addresses, taking pictures at the gas station, etc. whatever you can come up with. or since road bloacks might be up or crazy drunk people, rent your favorite movies of 2008 and watch them with some friends. or you could always do the whole boardgame thing. but put a twist on it, make new rules like if you land on park place (monopoly) you have to tell your favorite memory of 2008. that might sound geeky, but it could be fun. ya never know.

have a mini party at one of your houses - don't invite loads of people - just your friends and then turn it into a sleepover after the ball drops. New year's is pretty lame for teenagers anyway :(
