Cornell and U.C. Davis have top veterinary schools. You'd benefit from their resources, even if you don't get a veterinary degree.

Oregon State University is a great school for that. Though it might not be as affordable if you pay the out-of-state tuition My friend is studying zoology there. He's doing pretty good too on credits. Good luck.
