How do i get a high paying job without college degree?

    You can't get much more American than the US military. And they'll pay for your college to do something else. If the military isn't for you, I'd look into doing something technical. Find a trade/vocational/technical college that offers 2 year (or less) programs for things like CNC operation, HVAC, etc. The education isn't as expensive, you can apply for a loan, and you get out of the program making pretty decent money. If you aren't a technical type of person, bank tellers actually make decent money. Most banks don't start their tellers out at less than $10/hr. I work at a bank now and with absolutely no banking experience they started me off at $11/hr, in South Carolina no less. If you live in a big city, the pay will be even more. However, being a bank teller or an HVAC specialist won't be a "high paying job", one that you can support a family with. It's better than being a server or a cashier, definitely, but nowadays a degree is almost necessary to make any money at all. Look into financial aid and student loans. Most people find it fairly easy to get aid to go to school. Other decent-paying jobs that require no degree: receptionist, air traffic controller (HIGH pay, but A LOT of competition), police officer, truck driver, freelance writer (pay depends on your talent/luck). Keep in mind that employers for these kind of jobs still PREFER someone with a college degree, so expect competition.

Get into specialized labor career, like becoming a plumber or an electrician, and join their union. Go into the military and let them pay for college. Go in a a career that involves a great deal of physical danger or chemical hazards (as those are usually quite high-paid, seeing as you may die).

Rob someone who has a college degree and steal the certificate off of the wall. Use some white out and put your name over theirs. And BAM now you are a Surgeon!

Do some time in Law Enforcement/Military then become a private contractor. Buttloads of money to be made in conflict zones kid. Wont happen overnight, but you'll get there.
