  • Answer:

A motel doesn't have any inside features. There's a check-in desk and that's about it. There's no gym, lobby, dining, just rooms. There are also no elevators. The entrance to all rooms are located on balconies. Hotels are somewhat considered better than motels.

ok basically from my understanding a motel is like a two or three storey building with rooms that open to a balcony or patio it doesnt have alot of resources as a hotel for example a gym facility, resturant, etc. a hotel has more than three storey buildings that opens to the interior of either a hallway or is multi-stored and has a number a facilities, it is much bigger than a motel and has like more maids and stuffs like that. seeing that you are not fussy either way i think u'll enjoy anyone of them. its really just up to a person and what kind of service they want that will make u choose a place of stay. Have fun.

A motel room is one you can drive up to and park at or near you door. In a hotel you would enter in a lobby and take an elevator to your room.

I think one has a kitchenette, the other just a bedroom and bath.

I was always taught that a motel is one that you do not spend an extended amount of time in. And a hotel is one that is more like home. They are nicer and have a lot more amenities in them.

hotels cost a bit more and have better quality of service compared to motels

Motel is not as nice as a hotel. Google the hotel and look at the place if you want to see what its like

example of motel would be motel 8 cheap beds, bedding, furniture, lobby looks cheasy hotel: Hilton nice lobby, more professional front desk staff, nicer furniture, and they usually have a restaurant on property i have never seen a concierge at a motel! people that go to motels are people that eat at mcdonald's while on vacation, nothing wrong with that but that is what i mean oh at a motel you cant call room service and order champagne and strawberries

The difference between a hotel and a motel is its occupancy. Basically a Hotel is allowed to have more people staying in it as oppose to the motel. I know this because i had to get my fire guard certificate and it was required information to know. However I don't know what other people assume the difference is therefore i cant be 100% with my answer but I suppose there aren't many people at the hotel or the hotel is really small, could be what people mean.
