Sands Convention hall Las Vegas walking distance at Embassy Suites, or is hotel at the large convention hal/?

This is not a direct answer to your question but one thing to consider is getting a mobility scooter which can be rented from most of the major hotels or you can arrange a company to deliver to Embassy Suites. The daily rental rates are usually around $40 but if you get a weekly rate it goes down to $20. My girlfriend uses it whenever there is a long distance of walking and Vegas is very deceptive. On maps it looks like every casino is just next door but the blocks are actually very long.

I don't think the Embassy Suites is walking distance from the Sands. Most the hotels have good rates right now. Pretty much anything on the strip should work because you can take the bus (LV Rapid Transit) or the monorail.

you should map quest this so you see exactly what the layouts will be from point a to b. It is hard to rely on a random answer here. I live out here and yes, you do walk and walk great distances from one location to another. But what is a brief trip to me can be a marathon to some people. In order to be comfortable with your stay, I would look at maps. Good luck.
