Cannot open or download attachments in yahoo mail.?

since the new setting of yahoo in october I can't download any attachment from my mails

The solution to this problem is the following. Click on the gearwheel and scroll to settings. Open viewing email and uncheck "Enable conversions". I don't know why but this enabled me to open attachments. Whether this will last is in the lap of the Gods and Yahoo.

I can't open attachments. The file is listed, but it is in type format, not an icon. There is nothing to click on so I can't access attachments. I'd like Classic Mail back if possible. I don't like this new format.
