Why cannot I open attachments sent to my email?

I am not able to open attachments sent as PDF's from my email - new problem last 48 hours?

  • I cannot download or open any attachments from my email - it is critical that I am able to do this immediately.

    The problem is with Yahoo, not with your browser or your computer - many users are reporting the same problem! Apparently the engineers are aware of it and try to get it fixed, but no word yet on when that will be. Suggestion in case any of those attachments are important to you: open another free mail account with a different provider, then send the mail to your new account, incl. the attachment/s, and open and/or download it from there. I know it's a hassle, but for the time being I know of no other workaround...:-(

Same here. No problem open the same attachment with gmail. No basic testing done before releasing new software version???

I can't get my to completely download either. It says its virus free, so I download, then the spinny thing goes for a while (more than usual) then nothing happens. I've downloaded the newest version of Acrobat, I've changed my Internet Browser a couple of times, now. I've sent the email with the attachment to myself to open it there, still no result. I need my attachments for my job HELP

Me too! Has stopped all of my work - last two days. Thinking of opening a gmail account to use as a forward account while this gets worked out.

I've had the same problem....don't know what's going on. I had to forward my emails to my gmail account then download...no problem
