Where can you buy cheap train tickets to London?

All those that commute to london?whats the cheapest ways to buy train tickets?

  • im gonna move out of london, and dont know much about ect.But I do know that u have be crafty to get cheap fares

  • Answer:

Depends on the distance and how often you are travelling. If you're using the train for work 5 days a week, buy a Season Ticket. For leisure travel within South East England up to approximately 70 to 80 miles from London, travel after 09-30 weekdays and anytime weekends and buy a cheap day return, or a One Day Travelcard if you're going to use the Underground and buses in London. For longer distance travel advance purchase tickets valid for specific trains will be the cheapest; best to buy them from the station or the actual train company website you are using. Railcards priced at £24 p.a. will save you one third off many tickets. Choose the one most appropriate to your needs. www.railcard.co.uk www.nationalrail.co.uk
