    It works fine on my cell phone but not from any of the PCs I have tried. I'm beginning to wonder if this failure in Yahoo mail accessing external accounts may be related to a recent Java update. It started soon after I installed the latest version of Java (Version 7 update 21 on Vista 32) a couple of days ago. Could be that Yahoo's scripts are not up to date with Java.

Hi, Your Yahoo Account may have been hacked, this is happening to people all over the Yahoo network. ANYWAY HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:- You need to contact Yahoo by Email This can be done by clicking on Help at the Bottom Right Hand side of the Yahoo page. Then Click on Mail, or whatever one is best for you, then contact Customer Care, Right hand side of page. Fill in Category and Sub Category, Make sure you fill in brief details of what has happened, press Enter. Then for more help Click on EMAIL A SUPPORT AGENT. There will be a form to fill in. Then yahoo will contact you at another email address you need to give them and give you instructions regarding your account. They will ask you for another email address to contact you, NOT a yahoo email one. You need to create a new one either Google, Hotmail, etc. You will also be asked to create a new password.
