Luggage question pertaining to land cruise with Princess?

    That is not necessary. I have done a Princess cruise/land tour. What happens is your taken, often by rail to say Denali National park or some other place. You stay in a Princess lodge and your luggage goes with you. Then when you are ready to go on the cruise ship, again your luggage goes with you until you reach the port. Then they take it and you go through security and then onto the ship. I do suggest if you are bringing just one suitcase, also bring a carry on with at least one change of clothes. When I did my land/cruise, I did have 2 suitcases, but that is because I always over pack, no other reason.
