    The first thing you must do is take a step back and decide what you really would like your life to be. What are your dreams, income, lifestyle etc? Once you know what you want then you can start exploring how you are going to realise your dreams. You are 21 and will have been taught to get educated so that you can get a job, unfortunately that message is now very much out of date, job security is a thing of the past. What you need to decide is how to earn a living and I living that will take you to where you want to be. The industrial age is passed and we are now in the information age where technology is changing things incredibly quickly. I am now 65 and have been through a lot of the changes, started of in a steady job for 20 years, made redundant, went self employed, then got asked to join another company, it went bust but by then I had found another business which I started part time running it alongside my then employment. Now it is all I do and the income from it is substantial, in fact I know several people who are now millionaires thanks to what we do. So don't be afraid, decide what you want to be and then find the path to take you there. Also feel free to email me if you would like to chat or get any more questions answered.

The trick is a form of determination otherwise known as "utter insanity." All you need to do is figure out what you want to be doing, and do absolutely nothing else. This is exactly what I've been doing since graduation from Uni about three years ago. I know my chosen profession is hard to get into. I'm currently broke, living on the charity of friends and family, and occasionally extremely depressed from my lack of actual employment (I work project to project), but the trick is to stay with it no matter what. Know what you want, and tell yourself that nothing else matters.
