If you will be hired, what is the first thing in your job that you will do as a Restaurant Manager?

Be yourself. Don't come in 'new' and start kicking stuff around. Be firm, fair, and honest. Remember to get respect you have to give it. Make it clear on where you stand as a manager. Are you going to be a stricked by the book sort of person? Resulting in loss of potetential work friends, but increase your chances of promotion and experience. or Be the cool manager that looks the other way. Will be liked by employees, but complicates your future, and decision making. Or somewhere in between. Just make sure those you lead know where you stand, and it isn't your job to make friends. Its your job to make sure the resteraunts goals are accomplished. Hope it helped.
