Nursing degree before Dental School?
-
Is it ok if I get a bachelor's degree to be a Registered Nurse before applying for a dental school or do I have to take specific courses for my undergrad
-
Answer:
If you want to become a dentist WHY would you become a nurse?! Dental students typically go to a University for a 4 year degree in Pre-dental major or biology or chemistry and then take the GRE graduate exam and apply to dental colleges. They do NOT become RNs first.

Bad idea. This will not help you at all to get into dental school, is a waste of nursing school, and will not contain any of the pre dental courses you need. They will be suspicious of this route as well.
