Easy to find job in the future (2015) master in health care administration or master in occupational therapy?

    Well: do you want to actually work hands on with people (OT) or do you prefer paperwork, rules and regulations and the nuts and bolts & ugly politics of running facilities (administration). Both have their pluses and minuses, and some people start out in OT and then later go for their HC Admin so they can be managers in rehab. I personally love being an OT, but I have the heart of a person who loves policies and paperwork too; not everyone does.

What undergrad degree are you getting? Is it related to either of the two degrees you have mentioned? ---------------------- You're going to get BSN in a few years. You'll be working as a nurse for at least a few years before you want to go back and get your MSN - if your intention is to move up the career path, that is. Unless you want to go into admin (with HCA or MBA). No to OT. It's not related that much to what a nurse does.

I would have to go for the masters in occupational therapy. Where I live most occupational therapists are contracted out, which means higher pay. If you want to look up more information about jobs, look on the Dept of Labor website, which should show you the pay for each job you are interested in, and what the out look may be. You might also consider what job you would enjoy the most as well. Good Luck!W
