How much does a pharmacy technician make?

i was thinking about what i wanted to go to college to be...a RN or a pharmacy technician...how much does these make and how long does it take? and which do u prefer?

CVS starts you at about $7-8 an hour I was a tech when I was 16 no training. My Friend is a tech at Costco at starting at $15 an hour she is now at $18 after 3yrs. I am starting bachelors in nursing this coming Sept. I would say become a pharmacist or a nurse. Good paying jobs as a tech are hard to come by. CVS and Costco pay for you to become a pharmacist if you are a employee in the pharmacy you just have to stay there for 2-3 yrs after finishing.
