I want to go back to school to study for Physical Therapy or Physical Therapy Assistant, but I only have a GED will my lack of a HS Diploma impede my chances at higher learning? Also ...show more

Answer:
Uhh, yeah, especially if you want to be a physical therapist. A college isn't going to admit you if you don't have a GED or high school diploma. So if you have a GED, and you're already admitted to college, that shouldn't even matter. What matters is that you have a bachelor's and you're working towards becoming a PT. As far as a PTA, hospitals or clinics want you to have a high school education, that just really depends. I suggest going for PT, though.
