Getting your CNA is a good way to figure out if you really want to be a nurse. A lot of people say they want to be a nurse, then find they don't want to because of getting their CNA. Contact your local college or workforce center and ask them about CNA classes. CNA classes usually are 2 months long, and run about $500..all depending on where you are located. CNA's don't get paid a lot, and it isn't the best job..but (I think) it is very rewarding, and if you continue on and get your RN you'll know what the CNA's have to go through. Goodluck
