  Your "resume objective" statement is straight out of the lame workbook published by people who have never gotten a job using their methods. "Insert [job] and [goal] here, then continue with incredibly boring canned language." I've reviewed hundreds of resumes for high paying positions in my life. I see one of these and it makes me want to hurl. Be honest. What would you think if you had a company and the stakes were high and you needed a key employee and you were going to spend a lot of your own money and you read this. Don't tell me you'd be impressed. Be unique. If you look like something out of a "How to Apply for a Job" brochure from the library, forget it. The concepts they teach you in job hunting class are concepts. Yes, you want to tell them your goals, but if that HR person isn't talking about your Resume Objective that night when they go out for beer with their buddies, it's been a failure. Be brief. Be brilliant. Be gone.
