I've just recently got my first job in a well known fashion store, im only 16, and it says on my letter in the post that Im a sales adviser? Does this mean im going to help people ...show more

Answer:
They would have told you at the interview what you would be doing but sales adviser is another name for shop worker, you will brush the floor, make the te, tidy the shelf, pack and unpack boxes, watch for shoplifters, clean the toilets, go for the messages, work on the tills and anything else that needs done, I wouldn't expect you would help people pick out clothes unless you are a fashion adviser with college experience, maybe when they ask where the size 14 is you can show them and till work is usually done by the older members of staff, but we all have to start somewhere. Good luck.
