Why did my lower lip twitch?

Why does my lower lip twitch if I accidentally drop something?

  I have dealt with these twitches when something falls from my hand.(like a slight body jerk) At first i thought it was a phobia that i developed at age 24 i figured it had to do with having children and the fear of dropping them and after a while it transferred to dropping anything.something like classical conditioning..another theory, which is a stretch, some people report phobias having to do with past life experiences just as they report having the same type of afflictions on their body relating to how people may have died in their past lives ..The twitch stopped a few years ago lasted for 4 years or so.It wasnt noticeable to anyone but me. I dont want it to sound like a i was twitching uncontrollably or something. lol
