How can I make a romantic connection online, through Facebook, Quora, LinkedIn or any social network?

As anything in life, like my great biology teacher and actor once said, there is basically 1 way to move forward: By luck, persistence and skills. No idea in what ratio they matter, but of course there's a complex scheme in things that can change that ratio depending on time and place. When you persist, you're basically increasing your chances to get lucky, so that's just a minimum requirement you should do if you want to move anything forward in your own life history. Luck is obviously something out of our control. We don't understand it, thus, we're lucky if random events conspire in our favor, such as the place and time you were born. Luck sure plays a huge factor since we're just small insignificant grains of sand in the World. Some people will try to make you believe there is such thing as talent for acquiring skills, and it is true, it does exist, but it's so minor in the grand scheme. You can gain skills and there is little genetic difference among us to give any such "talent" advantage. Persistence will almost always prevail, as with it you can increase your chances of internalizing, truly learning new skill sets. My point is: you believe a connection with someone will be good for you, persist. And study. Pay attention to responses. Look at the surroundings, see if there isn't a better option. Make sure you're not fooling yourself. There is a lot of science in love, and if well done it will always lead to much better relationships.
