Tip of the middle finger is numb and tingly?

Why has the tip of my middle finger been numb all day?

  • Answer:

numbness is a neurological symptom. The nerve running to your middle finger is probably being irritated or injured somehow. Are u wearing a ring that may be too tight? maybe a bracelet that is pressing on your wrist while typing. Try to look at what u are doing that might be causing it

I agree with the pinched nerve idea. My dog will playfully bite my wrist and if he hits it just right, a fingertip will be numb for days due to a pinched nerve, and then it always goes away when you stop thinking about it!

maybe you have been flicking too many people off? i dont know.....it depends on what u did...maybe you bumped it or something?

have you had any recent injuries...you might have pinched a nerve (on that side of your body) and it is causing that sensation...if it does not go away, you might wanna get it checked out...

Were you out in the cold? That happens to me alot. Don't worry about it unless it starts turning purple or something.

Any scar tissue on the finger? When the scar on my finger bangs into something the finger will go numb for hours.

take the elastic band off the middle of your finger!
