Thirdly, find someone who has done what you're trying to do, and become their shadow.  Work for them, hell, volunteer if you have to, but what important is that you soak up any and everything relating to what they've done, what they're doing, and how they're doing it.

Get your idea and business plan first. Then you can find mentors! Talk to other startup founders. Apply to all the incubators in India. There's no lack of mentors in India. Most importantly, before you quit your job, ensure you have enough cash to keep you going for 6 months to a year! My 2 cents!
