Business major: what to choose?
-
I'm going for business major, but I don't know what specific career should I choose. I don't have any ability or interest that leans towards any particular, so I want to pick something that will have (predictably) a lot of job opening 2 years from now. What should I choose?
-
Answer:
Do not pursue business. Focus on your soft skills (public speaking, writing, team work) and your hard skills (quantitative analysis, science). People with science and math abilities and interest in business (e.g., a minor in business) will have many opportunities. Those with skills in business could plateau early.
