  • Answer:

I've only been to Angeles National Forest, more specifically the Mt. Baldy region, so I can't really compare. Some things I like: -Bunch of different hikes and routes. -'Top of the Notch' restaurant on top of a peak, so you could do a hike, and finish it off there, eat, and take the ski lifts down. I haven't done this, but I plan to. -Wilderness creatures, in the area I go there's always a bunch of gray squirrels and chipmunks (I think that's what they are..) in other locations you may see bigger animals Things I dislike: -Can get extremely crowded on weekends, like nowhere to park at all. Better off going through the week. -Food is expensive, to be expected. I've found this guy's website helpful in planning hikes. http://www.simpsoncity.com/hiking/ Here's a long hike which ends at the restaurant I was talking about. http://redtailtrails.com/trails/three-ts-trail-via-icehouse-canyon
