  Do some research with Google about your nearest track and go there to watch and soak up the atmosphere. Check out the AMA web site and if you can find someone who road races from your area make contact with him. 15 is not too old to start racing unless you have thoughts of racing in the MotoGP's in which case you have already lost the chance because of your age. The cheapest class to get into road racing is the '250 Production Race' where they are basically stock 250 road bikes with the glass removed and the softest road tires available used for the extra grip. Then you could move up to '600cc Sports bikes' before you get into the money burners using a new slick tire for each race at about 6 times the cost of a normal road tire. But you can get into road racing on a budget if you go about it right...
