Motocross Trails For Dirt Bike?

  • Hello to fellow dirt bike riders I have a few questions. Do you ride at illegal dirt bike trails? If so what do you do when the cops comes and what do you say. Do you think a xr100 ...show more

  • Answer:

xr100's are very quite, but your not going to get away from the jacks on one. so when you hear them coming, in aus they ride ktm 525's which are very loud. shut off the bike lie it down and hide. if they see you and its too late say you didnt know anything about this place and you didnt know your way around. they should help youj and if your too young to get your liscence they might just give u a caution. always ride with a helmet coazz they can pin you for that to.

If you insist on riding where you aren't supposed to and riding a bike that's too loud, it should be taken from you. We had to deal with this in the 70's and 80's and almost lost our riding rights. People who do this have no rights in my eyes.

yea i ride in powerlines all of the time and cops come a lot but if u just got a helmet on and ur nice to the cops they'll let you off with a warning it happens a lot but no one should complain unless they're old

i dont think xr100s are that loud just get a good muffler for it and just book it if the cops come hahaah.. so just if you do get a loud bike try to quiet it...

I think the answer to that is totally dependent upon just where in the world you happen to be. Rules and punishment for riding where you are not meant to differ from place to place and I know where I am in Australia that if you are caught riding on land that is not privately owned, fenced and permission given you risk an $800 fine. Land unfenced is deemed to be land that should not be ridden on and you can be fined even with permission to ride there. They come down hard on it especially in the area close to my home as at least 4 people have been killed riding off road where they should not be as they cross dirt roads and don't make really great looking bonnet ornaments. So post just where you are in the world so you can get answers from those who are in that area.
