How to fix a broken psp?

My PSP is broken .. how can I fix it ?

    its ruined that has happend to my mate preety much there is a viruse in yourr system that doesnt allow your psp to use any sort of programme in any case it wont let u run the recovery programme so my addivce is get a new one or sell your old one on ebay but just say whast wrong most people on there will be able to fix it

I'm using a Devolution modchip, but if the recovery menu works, save urself $75, and use it. All you really need to do is get yourself a custom FW, and have the PSP launch it through the recovery menu. You have to put it in the game folder, with the name of the folder holding the installer "RECOVERY" and it will automatically reinstall your FW. You just have to choose the function "run program at PSP/GAME/RECOVERY"

I don't know what to tell you. when mine was broken my mom had to buy the warranty and send it back to the factory.if u have the warranty for a year or so maybe u would be able to replace it for a new one or u might have to buy a new warranty.
