    Go to romulation.net to download nintendo DS games. Make an account and go to the NDS section. Yes you'll need an R4 or you can get an N5 ( or other knock offs) for less. Go to dealexteme.com and you can buy an N5 for like $12 ( i had one its good.) You will also need a MICRO SD card adapter and Reader. I believe the N5 or R4 come with the reader. you just need to buy the MICRO SD card and adapter which you can also buy from dealextreme.com It doesn't matter the space though. It can be 1gb or 4gb. Note that 4gb obviously holds more games, videos, music etc. I would go in the middle and get a 2gb. There not too expensive but can hold a good amount of games music and videos. That's all you need and your set. Note that when i was using my DS with the N5 battery life is shortened to like 5 hours tops. The n5 and r4 use up extra battery

I think this will greatly help you. I just found out about these cards a few weeks myself too. I just purchased a storage accessory for Nintendo DS. This device is exactly the same as regular Nintendo DS cartridge, except you can put medias on it yourself, for instance, burned video games, movies and music. In general, I can download ANY Nintendo DS Lite games from the internet and copy it into the R4DS and run from there. It saved me more than $150 monthly from buying games.
