Is PC gaming dead?

Is pc gaming dead? will it ever die? or is it growing?

  Yes I love PC gaming too, and I don't want it to do either. But in the recent years, there has been so many console games, and since console games usually allow better graphics and have less minimum requirements than PC games, they are more popular. And games is all about popularity. If something is not popular, it wont stick for long. The older PC game-makers are either moving out of business or turning their money to create better console games, rather than concentrating on PC games. Another downfall of PC games is that a PC needs constant upgrading while a console like a PS3 or XBOX 360 doesn't. When new PC games come out, they are often over the limit of most PC game players and therefore they have to waste more time and effort to get their PC's upgraded. In the end, I think even though PC takes up less money compared to consoles, it is preferred more because its "easier" to play in the consoles. So even though I don't want it, I think PC Gaming will die within the next 5 years. Maybe not completely die but there will be very few games available and it wont be popular. There are just too many consoles out there. And most new generation people don't play games in PC, they prefer consoles, and that's how it will be forever now I think.
