  Windows Movie Maker only supports these video formats: * Video files: .asf, .avi, .wmv * Movie files: MPEG1, .mpeg, .mpg, .m1v, .mp2 To put youtube videos onto Windows Movie Maker, you will have to convert those files with a video converter such as Aimersoft Video Converter (free download) or if you are using a good video editing software such as Wondershare Movie Story or something comparable then your files don't have to be converted. You can just add them to the program and start from there.
