    Both MySpace and Facebook have banned Project Playlist simply because project Playlist are being sued big time in court over copyright/royalties issues. An employer wouldn't hire somebody going through a court case therefore it is totally logical for Project Playlist to be banned until such time as they can prove they have complied with the law relating to copyright. Can't understand why teens can't grasp the seriousness of copyright. A singer makes his living by singing - it is his job. Part of that job is recording and issuing music. The money he earns from that music (royalties) is like his salary. People using his music without permission are depriving him of part of that salary (that is why a singer's work is legally protected - by copyright). Would you allow a total stranger to steal part of your salary? of course not.

I started working with Project Playlist and found it real crap. Perhaps that was the reason to end the contract ? I use Imeem now instead. More players (only good ones) you find here http://webdesign.coolstart.nl/ Success !

A copyright issue. And they want to encourage you to use THEIR playlists I suppose. Which I don't mind doing. I just MySpace would implement a "shuffle" option. That's one thing I liked about Project Playlist - how you could randomize the playlist so a different song would play each time someone visited your profile. MySpace will probably do that eventually too... in another couple years... :p

Yes,myspace music is competing against project playlist.You'd be surprised by how many people use Project Playlist instead of Myspace Music,and Myspace was kind of tired of it.SO,they started blocking them.It's sucky isn't? I HATE Myspace Music.

The reason they banned it is because now they have their own playlist and they didn't want to compete with it. They want myspace users to use the myspace playlist.
