    I would encourage you to look at Jackson skates. They make quality skates at affordable prices. The Jackson Classique is a nice model. Well I have been skating for 3 years and already have an Axel, Double Sow, and almost a Double toe-loop. I started on Jackson Freestyle : http://www.jacksonultima.com/en/Index.aspx?product=u8jL189Vol93Ap2TlfXGbg1A2B3C4D5E1A2B3C4D5E they were great for starting. I had these to a Flip Jump. Which is when I switched to Harlick, but that's a different question. I am back to Jackson's now. I highly recommend Jackson's. Period. For any level. You will want to ask your coach about these skates. Just to be sure.
