Is it bad that i start crossing my legs when i do a single jump (ice skating)?

    I use to cross my legs in all single jumps too, so I know what you mean! I videod me crossing my legs on a salchow, then uncrossing them. And I found the jump with my legs uncrossed had so much more power and height. It's fine to cross legs in flip, loop and lutz, but try working on 3-jump, salchow and toe loop with legs uncrossed off ice. it helps so much and improves technique . It's okay, but when you get to double jumps, if you're pulled in really tight, that won't be good at all, as you won't get enough rotation then.
