Help ! Ice Skating Lessons?

  • Tommorow I am going to go ice skate (indoors) and there is only 1 begginer class no adult one's. Im worried that it's all gonna be little kids there. :S

  • Answer:

Don't worry about it too much. As long as you have confidence when you try skating, it won't make a difference. But if you feel self conscious then you'll probably look super self conscious and stuff. So just remind yourself that you are there to learn.

There are usually people of all sorts of ages that start off in beginner classes. Yes. The majority will be young skaters. However, likely, there will be a few teens. Or pre-teens, at the very least. Don't worry. Skating is fun. And most likely, if you practice hard, you won't be at the beginner level too long, and soon you can take regular, or high-level lessons (which means one-on-one lessons with a coach). Good luck. Relax. Just concentrate on the lesson and have fun!

there's no way to really know for sure until you actually go tomorrow. and if you are, i know it might feel a little awkward, but try not to let it bother you. chances are, you'll improve faster than the little kids, so you will move up to classes with some older kids soon. until then, be friendly to them, and try hard to focus on your skating, not on who's in your class :)
