What are the requirements for each test in USFSA?

What freestyle level would you have to pass to meet the testing requirements for usfsa prepreliminary?

  • i am thinking about switching from isi to usfsa

  • Answer:

For ISI, most people passed freestyle 5 before proceeding to USFSA pre-pre with an axel. To meet requirements, ISI freestyle 4, would do. (most single jumps, camel, sit and one foot spin) However, USFSA competitions for any level including pre-pre require higher elements than the test requirements itself. So, if your planning to compete in USFSA pre-pre, it would be good to have your single axel:) Hoped this helped!:) Happy skating and all the best!!

I believe freestyle 5 is axels, so you would have to be in or have passed Freestyle 5. You don't HAVE to do it though. There are no tests before Pre-preliminary that are necessary. Pre-pre field moves and freeskate are what officially make you pre-preliminary, but you can compete if you haven't passed those.
