Sharp pains in stomach, what could they be?

Ive been getting horrible sharp pains in my lower left stomach area.what could it be?

    Could be a hernia even though you are female. If it was your lower right side I would say appendicitis. Also it could be an ovarian cyst. Have it checked out by a doctor.

This can be 'irritable bowel' - sometimes called "leaky gut". Not good. The pain can be absolutely debilitating and people end up in the hospital pretty quick. But it can also be just gas pains - having any anxiety or stress in your life? Left side/lower is a common place for the bowel to hurt. Take it easy - but it continues check out the use of glutamine, fish oil and vitamin E. Those things can really help if it's 'irritable bowel'. Let's hope it's just gas pains!
