  • Answer:

"Where is the Green Sheep" by Mem Fox - very simple and she will pick up the repitition in it - blue, red, bath, bed, car, train, scared, brave, up, down etc "Dear Zoo" - She can guess the animals behind the flap Anything where she can predict and guess what it coming up, or anything with repitition is great for this age

all i can say is dr. seuss. its educational because you can read it to her and she'll learn. you have to interact with her if you want her to learn anything with any book.

Try wordless picture books. These are excellent for developing language skills, since children make up their own stories and describe what they see happening. Even very young children do well with these. Don't discount books with words. Books with very repetitive sentence patterns are an excellent way to teach pre-reading skills. Try books like "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" and "Cookie's Week", and you'll find yourself amazed when your child is able to read along after very few times reading the story together.
