What should I teach my preschool kid?

If you can't put your kid through preschool then what can you teach them at home?

    Teach your child as much as you can, there's absolutely nothing wrong with getting a head start on your education. Take him to the library as often as you feel he needs to go. Work on his reading and such when you can.

Nothing - along the lines of the tact a registered teacher will take. Parenting; which requires teaching children anyway - is not the same as registered teaching. Your child should most certainly have the chance to go to preschool for a whole host of reasons which there is not enough space to write here.
