How long does it take me from Geneva to Zurich by train?

I'm planning to go to Zurich and Geneva. If i travel from Zurich to Geneva by train, how long it will take?

  Ameya's answer is total nonsense - ignore it. I don't know why people answer on here if they don't know the answer and deliberately mislead questioners. There are two trains every hour from Zurich, at 4 and 32 minutes past the hour, and the journey takes either 2 hours 42 or 43 minutes. Adult 2nd class single with half-fare card is SFr 41, SFr 82 without - the Swiss railway website assumes that everyone has one, so it's only foreigners who pay the full fare. You can buy a half-fare card valid for a month for SFr 110. Similarly the fare for children up to 16 years old is SFr 41. Adult 1st class single with half-fare card is SFr 70, SFr 140 without.
