a 4yr college degree in anything will get you commissioned as an officer. the air force has many fields for officers.

Just to clear something up, in many air forces, flight engineers are enlisted, not officers. The USAF uses strictly enlisted airmen, while the Canadians use both enlisted and Warrant Officers. I'd just rather not be lumped in with them college boys... lol.
