Inshore vs offshore fishing in March in Naples Florida?
-
Heading down to Naples Florida and was thinking of hiring a local fishing charter for half a day or a full day. Wondering what would be the best experience. Thanks

Answer:
If you were going to the Keys, I'd say off shore, but the way our geography is here, you have to run 25 miles or better to be in 45' depth. And as SZ said, weather can be iffy in March. In shore, which will cost you less, will give you plenty of action. Reds, trout, sheepshead, flounder, pompano and snook for starters. I live a few miles up the road from Naples and do only backwater around here. I go to the Keys for my offshore fishing. Tight lines.
